Biography:
Hello! My name is Adam Swed and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with experience as an individual counselor. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral problems, relationship, and parenting issues, as well as substance abuse.
My goal for therapy is to provide a safe space for clients to be able to express their needs and concerns as they walk through the complexity of them. I believe that having a safe space is vital to be able to express yourself without fear of being judged, as well as gain insight and positive feedback without being judged. My goal is to make sure my clients do not feel alone through their difficult times and feel they have someone who supports them in a positive way. I strive to make sure everyone that I work with feels listened to, cared for, and respected as they walk though their most difficult challenges and concerns. My passions include spending time with friends and family and helping others. In my spare time, I enjoy playing board games, video games and other tabletop games with friends.
