Our time together can be short and solution-focused or much longer, depending on the nature of your concerns and your progress in therapy. I use several approaches to therapy which include modalities such as trauma informed, DBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. I specialize in the area of complex trauma and I am committed to helping individuals, families, adolescents, and children overcome emotional, cognitive, social, and behavioral challenges. Some of these challenges may include family or individual crisis, trauma, death, loss, or divorce, depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues, addiction, self-harm, and suicide, or complex mental health.
I became a mother when I was young, and this experience has taught me how to manage the complexity of life. I am now married with three children: a 14 years old son and 3-year-old boy/girl twins. My passions are spending time with family, traveling, and serving the community and during my free time, I enjoy binge-watching Netflix. I, Keisha, can’t heal you…but I can definitely walk alongside you as we uncover things that you might not have been aware of prior to therapy and give you the tools, practices, and support as you heal yourself.
