Biography
Hi, my name is Samantha, but please call me Sam. I am an enthusiastic and passionate Social Worker with a background in individual psychotherapy and group counseling. I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Miami University, and have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings.

Whether it’s family and interpersonal problems, struggles with anxiety or depression, or changes due to trauma and PTSD, I have assisted my clients with finding the hope and strength to move through their experiences. I not only work with individuals, but have also worked as a group counselor, a child and family mediator, and an educator when needed. Once we start working together, we will establish goals that are defined by you, and focus on your personal motivation, identity, and growth. I enjoy the uniqueness each and every one of my clients brings, and I will focus on making your sessions individualized. My goal is for us to find what works in your life, while still being yourself. I know that we will have many challenges and fears to confront, but I am excited to work with you. Most of our time together will be spent using various treatment modalities. I am a very hands-on therapist and enjoy using your personal strengths and preferences to create change. When I am not working, I am spending time with my family, my pets, or a good book.
