Biography

I am so glad you are here. Taking the step to seek counseling services and improve your mental wellness is something to be celebrated. Through a culturally-informed and person-centered approach, we will work together to explore the challenges you are facing. I believe that you are your own expert and I, as the therapist, am here to help guide you toward healing and growth through leaning into the strengths you naturally possess. Cultivating a culturally competent supportive space that meets the clients where they are is my priority as a therapist.

Graduating from Cleveland State University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I received a wide variety of training experiences. My training consisted of treating concerns such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, identity struggles, trauma, survivors of sexual assault and rape, struggles with addiction, academic concerns, anger management, and career-related stress within young adult and adult populations.

The techniques I typically utilize include a person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), feminist theory, liberation psychology (strength-based), and trauma-informed care. I am currently accepting clients who are experiencing: mood disorders (depression, bi-polar, etc.), anxiety disorders, trauma, sexual trauma, career-related concerns, interpersonal struggles, and identity struggles.

Counseling brings me immense joy and I am passionate about my work. I want each client that I work with to know they are important and valued, and my client-centered approach to counseling reflects that. I am looking forward to working with you!
