Biography

Nyema Bedell is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor (LPCC-S), Clinical Director, and focuses on helping individuals and couples build resilience, emotional clarity, and sustainable change. Nyema is the Clinical Director and Co-Owner of Cultivate Counseling & Consulting, where he brings a grounded, relational approach to both therapy and leadership. His clinical work centers on supporting adults, couples, and men navigating stress, life transitions, trauma, identity development, and relational challenges with clarity and intention. His approach is informed by evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR. Nyema values practical tools, honest conversations, and meeting clients where they are, helping them develop emotional awareness and coping strategies that support long-term well-being.

Nyema is also the author of BattleBorn: A Man’s Guide to Conquering Stress, a guided workbook rooted in his clinical experience and passion for men’s emotional health. The book addresses stress, emotional pressure, and internalized expectations that often go unspoken, offering practical tools and reflection to support growth and resilience.

As Clinical Director, Nyema is committed to fostering ethical, thoughtful, and supportive clinical environments. He emphasizes strong clinical foundations, accountability, and sustainability, believing that quality client care begins with well-supported clinicians. Nyema proudly co-leads Cultivate Counseling & Consulting alongside his wife, Keisha Bedell, with a shared vision of building a practice rooted in integrity, compassion, and meaningful community impact.
